SAMUEL VENTURA delivers doses of acoustic folk-pop, rock and roll, modern reggae, and punk rock, and often all in the same song. Beyond genre variability, his songs are consistently great and you’re guaranteed to have them stuck in your head. But what is the story behind this sensational up-and-coming talent? Samuel was born and raised in Geneva, New York, the lake trout capitol of the world and home to the gym class heroes. He learned to play the piano at a young age, but was writing songs before he could even play an instrument. He also wrote short stories, poems, and even novels before he was a teenager. This literary talent he developed would later serve as an excellent platform for his lyrical ability. Samuel's debut album, "Beautiful Tragedy" will be released in late June.

THE KID KURRY BAND is well known for covering the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, The Outlaws and other Southern Rock legends as well as featuring original music from their recently released CD, "Time Flies By". The Band's 2009 summer festival performance line-up includes Party in The Park, A Taste of Rochester, East End Festival, Flour City Brewers' Festival, Monroe County Fair, Park Point and the NTS Festival of Balloons. Kid Kurry Band members include lead singer and acoustic guitarist Rick Wyand, dual lead guitarists Chris Akuncius and Mickey Ames, bassist Dave Quick, drummer and percussionist Joey Cintorino and flutist Anne Wyand. All six members contribute to vocals.

COUSIN JAKE is a powerhouse rock trio from Syracuse NY that has been pleasing audiences for sixteen years. Band members are Don Gillett, drums and vocals, Bob Volk, lead vocals and bass, and Dave Cook, guitar and vocals. The band performs classic rock and blues along with outstanding original material, including covers by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, the Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Robin Trower, Jethro Tull, and many others. This year the band released its fourth CD, FLYING MACHINE, with all new original material including the title track, “Easy Man”, “Getting Stranger”, “Play or Die” and more. The combination of talent melding Dave’s blistering guitar work (and amazing Jimi impersonation), Don’s monster percussion and Bob’s huge voice and heavy bass make for a rockin’ good time. Cousin Jake is the real deal, the genuine article, and they invite you to boogie.
