The House of Guitars' Battle of the Bands this year will have a different look along with new competition criteria for finalists’ selection. Get your band entered in the competition and the opportunity to be played on the Sunday night Shakedown by sending your CD and Press Kit:

Please remember any songs containing profanity will not be considered for broadcast. Please make sure all submissions are clean and edited for on air play time.

The Taste Management will accept entries for our competition through June 21, 2008 being the last entry date. There will be seven finalists chosen to compete on June 29th, Sunday on the Verizon Wireless Main St. Stage. The winner will be decided by a panel of judges consisting of event patrons and the Taste’s Management.

The winner will receive a check for $1000 presented ON AIR at The Buzz radio station at a convenient time for all parties. The winner also wins a $1000 Gift Certificate courtesy of our competition sponsor The House of Guitars. An invitation to be a scheduled paid act in the 2009 Taste pf Rochester entertainment schedule rounds out our incredible winner’s package.
