What is the Taste of Rochester?

    Many of the city's finest select restaurants will offer food and fare to delight the crowd. Additionally, local Wineries and Brewers will be featured at the festival's Wine and Beer Gardens. The Taste of Rochester is a partnership between The Results Group, one of New York State's largest events promoters, and the city of Rochester and the mayor's office.  With special thanks going out to Mayor Robert J. Duffy.

What are the dates and time of the Taste of Rochester?

     The dates and time are Friday-June 27th from Noon –11:00 p.m.; Saturday-June 28th from 11:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.; Sunday-June 29th. from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

How do you get to the  Taste of Rochester?

      Please go to our task bar where it labeled “Directions” Please use our virtual map to see either an aerial shot ,hybrid, or driving directions, then print it off and we will be seeing you in just a few moments!

Where do you park?

     All of downtown streets will available surrounding the event.

Is there an admission fee?

     THERE IS NO ADMISSION FEE TO OUR EVENT!!

How to pay for food and alcoholic beverages?

      We will have ticket booths placed strategically for all our attendees to purchase tickets representing $1 per ticket that can be used only with our restaurants and all beer & wine tents in lieu of money in any denomination.  This year 2008, all soda and water products will be sold by the individual restaurants as a ticket item. The choices of brands will be determined by each vendor.

Sorry we can not refund any unused tickets so please sample all our fine area food establishments carefully thought out  menu selections here at the Taste of Rochester. Tickets purchased at our event can be used any day at any time at any restaurant !

Does the event have the public’s medical and well being in mind?

     The Taste of Rochester will have on duty throughout the event hours an EMT Contingency contracted from Rural Metro. The City of Rochester Police Department will have a strong presence from morning to the evening hours each event day. The City of Rochester Fire Department will be represented by their Fire Marshall all the scheduled hours of the “Taste”

What is the Battle of The Bands sponsored by The House of Guitars?

The winner will receive a check for $1000 presented ON AIR at The Buzz radio station at a convenient time for all parties. The winner also wins a $1000 Gift Certificate courtesy of our competition sponsor The House of Guitars. An invitation to be a scheduled paid act in the 2009 Taste pf Rochester entertainment schedule rounds out our incredible winner’s package.

Need Cash?

     ATM locations are available at  M&T Bank right on Main St.,  a 24 hour ATM service is  available, just use any card with a magnetic stripe to gain entry to their front vestibule. Bank of America located on the corner of Main and State will have access during the entire event schedule also.
